IRBM SP provides integrated drug discovery solutions based on small molecule medicinal and peptide chemistry. Integrated programs utilize resources from all the scientific disciplines needed to advance a project from lead identification through lead optimization and the generation of a preclinical candidate. This is achieved through the formation of project teams composed of medicinal or peptide chemists, DMPK scientists, assay technology experts, and in vitro and in vivo scientists. Projects are supported by automated assay technology, optimized processes that ensure quick turnaround, and customized data analysis sof t ware and IT infrastructure.

Drug Discovery Workflow

IRBM Science Park offers drug discovery services up to the early phases of preclinical development. Projects begin with the identification of potential therapeutic targets, progress into their validation by a variety of in vitro and in vivo genetic and biochemical tools, and continue with the identification of suitable chemical or biological lead molecules directed against the validated targets. These are further optimized to become suitable pre-clinical development candidates.
