IRBM SP comprises the core medicinal chemistry team behind the discovery of the first-in- class HIV-I ntegrase inhibitor Isentress TM. Strong organic synthesis exper ience underpins our medicinal chemistry efforts that take a highly focused and multidisciplinary approach toward the evolution of leads to developable drug candidates. We provide services in many areas of medicinal chemistry : early lead identification, hit-to -lead evolution, lead optimization, and identification of preclinical candidates.
Peptide Chemistry
IRBM SP is a world- class centre for the discovery and development of peptide therapeutics. Our peptide candidates are designed by approaches such as biocomputing, structural biology and the development of structure-activity relationships through the focused synthesis of multiple peptide analogs. Our experience covers a wide range of technologies, including the use of non- coded amino acids, conformational constraints, modification of the peptide back bone, and conjugation with PK- enhancing moieties.
