IRBM Science Park provides world class services in drug and vaccine research. We have expertise with small molecules, peptides, and biologics. Our expert multidisciplinary team will assist you to discover small molecule and peptide therapeutics, starting from lead identification, through lead optimization and up to the generation of a preclinical drug candidate. Our state of the art GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) production facility provides research grade and clinical grade recombinant adenoviral vectors for gene therapy and vaccine applications. We also offer independent access to individual research services.
Research Services
Our scientist The first in class HIV integrase inhibitor Isentress™ was discovered at IRBM. Isentress™ is a block buster drug that was mar keted globally in 2007 and won the Pr ix G alien 2008 as Best Pharmaceutical agent. The Prix Galien, of ten considered the industry's equivalent of the Nobel Prize, is the highest accolade for pharmaceutical research and development. Several members of the Isentress™ discovery team are among the scientists of IRBM Science Park . Drs Summa, Laufer, Altamura, Monteagudo, Bonelli, Di Marco and Harper all made critical contributions to its discovery.
