Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy is a powerful tool for the study of structural biology, metabolomics and analytical chemistry. We have developed methods for helping different phases of drug discovery, from hit identification and validation to lead optimization.
As part of the Preclinical Research Unit, the NMR group also focuses on the development and deployment of NMR protocols to support preclinical studies. The team has significant expertise in the use of NMR spectroscopy for the investigation of drug mode of action in biofluids, cells, bacteria or parasites. We have also developed a robust NMR-based metabolomics platform to identify biomarkers of pathology in minute samples of biofluids and in a cost-efficient manner.
